Large Leather Notebook with Latch
Our notebooks are hand cut from a side of American made leather. They are made to hold an 8 ½” x 11” pad with extra pockets and a pen loop. They measure 12 ¼” x 10” when closed and feature the handy and durable leather latch that securely holds the notebook shut. The edges of the notebooks are finished by hand and then the entire notebook is given several coats of pure Neatsfoot oil with the final step being a light application of leather sealant.
There are so many options available with these that it is hard to picture and list them all. Just remember that custom work is our business! We can hand tool and/or laser almost anything on these.
Flower and Carlos Border Large Notebook with Latch
This version features intricate flower carving combined with a Carlos border edge design. They they feature an 8 ½” x 11” pad along with a slash pocket, card pocket and a pen loop. The outside measurement is 12 ¼” x 10” when closed.
Basket Stamped Large Notebook with Latch
The hand stamped basket design on this notebook is created with a slow, one-stamp-at-a-time process that truly tests my patience. It creates a stunning, timeless look. As with the other notebook styles, this one can be customized. This option is a very popular gift idea.
Carlos Stamped Large Notebook with Latch
This stamping option is by far our most popular. When we are at the different shows that we attend it seems that the first thing we sell out of are the Carlos border stamped items. This option is usually the best choice for customization. They have the same unique latch as the others and measure 12 ¼” x 10” when closed. Plain Large Notebook with Latch
This plain option of this notebook seems to bring out the rich look and texture of the top-quality American leather that it is created from. They are made to hold an 8 ½” x 11” pad with extra pockets and a pen loop. They measure 12 ¼” x 10” when closed and have a leather latch. Spiral Leather Notebook with Magnetic Strap
The spiral notebooks are of the same top quality leather as the large notebooks, just a little lighter in weight. They feature a magnetic latch that keeps the notebook closed when not in use. They fit a 9 ½” x 6” spiral with the overall closed measurement being 10 ½” x 7 ½”. There are additional inside pockets.
As with our other work, there are many custom options to choose from.
Basket Stamped Spiral Notebook with Magnetic Strap
The basket stamp design is commonly seen on saddles and other pieces of Western tack. We believe that it really looks good on a notebook. These are made to fit a 9 ½” x 6” spiral and have a super strong magnetic closure. There are additional pockets found on the inside.
Carlos Spiral Notebook with Magnetic Strap
The timeless look of the Carlos border stamp is brought to life with this option. It is made from top quality American leather, tooled by hand and given a natural oil finish that gets better looking with age. Options include initials, names or logo.
